This means as teachers (kaiako) we are observing, assessing, learning and progressing our teaching and the curriculum all the time, to provide a well-planned, implemented and evaluated learning environment. This supports children (tamariki) to make progress over time.
The teaching and learning cycle between tamariki and kaiako is a together approach and involves whānau as we work together to agree what is a priority, what is important and plan for learning together.
We do it in fun and nurturing ways, because that is how tamariki learn faster.
