Our Kaupapa and Values
Millie’s House Motto: Learning together, Hand in Hand
Our seven centres in the Hutt Valley, Wellington and Christchurch are all held together by our company Kaupapa and Values.
Our Kaupapa is steeped in whanaungatanga, relationships.
Tamariki, Whānau, Kaiako and stakeholders connected and working together. We have mana and high aspirations for ourselves and each other. We promote learning and growth through intentionally planned, implemented and evaluated learning for our tamariki our kaiako and our leaders.
Our values can be distilled into the below five concepts. At Millie’s House our relationships are respectful, trusting, with open communication ensuring our learning is reciprocal and shared between tamariki, whānau and kaiako.
